$Ping

Syntax

$Ping <senderIp>:<senderPort>|

Description

  • senderIP:senderPort is the IP/port that the sender is listening on.
  • This command is not implemented by DC++. A ping measures latency, which isn't the same as throughput; the latter matters most in peer to peer file sharing.
  • This entry may be inaccurate. If you are implementing this feature in your client (which is not advised), you should reverse engineer the behavior directly from NMDC v1.0 beta 9.
