At the moment there hasn't been agreed on how Supports should be implemented. arnetheduck's suggestions do not match the ones in here, and Opera seems to want to do it in a third way.

Note that this protocol never got implemented. Instead we agreed on the 'NoHello' handshake instead.

I could find no reference to NoHello on this wiki, so I guess I have to add a page and describe it further.
