Isn't the remote nick meant to be in the end of passive search results only, delimited by 0x05? At least in this page it is told so. --bastya_elvtars 17:38, 29 Aug 2005 (EDT)

• I haven't reverse engineered NMDC to see how it emits $SRs, but yes, the protocol reference does say that. DC++ used to return the last nick for all search results, not just passive ones, but the last version to append the nick was 0.263. I don't recall hearing any complaints about it, so I guess it didn't break anything. This should probably be added as a note of some sort, but I'm not sure what to say, since I don't know why it was changed. --GargoyleMT 13:46, 1 Sep 2005 (EDT)
