As of April 1st, 2004, QuickDC development has halted with an unusable 0.11 release.

QuickDC is a graphical DC client for KDE desktop environment.

It runs on most variants of Linux and is also known to work under FreeBSD and NetBSD on the x86 platform.

QuickDC supports many of the DC++ extended protocol features including BZ2 compressed browselists, but more features, like ZBlock transfers are in development.

Another feature, still in development is client emulation, where QuickDC will be able to maskerade as DC++ or DCGUI.
