The title of this article is incorrect because of technical limitations. The correct title is PeerWebDC++.

Peerweb DC++ is a StrongDC++ Derivative that implements many feature tweaks, media handling and fully custom graphics/icons but due to compiler change between StrongDC++ RC10 and RC11, it got decided to start off clean slate and rename it to its successor ApexDC++.

Features

• Super Seeding (Partial uploading and downloading enhancement): This feature allows downloaders to share the incomplete files they are currently downloading with other downloaders of the same file, increasing download speeds and efficiency greatly. The user with the complete file will be able to share different parts of the file to different users in order to spread the file throughout the hub and decrease the time it takes to seed a file into a hub. Note: For this to be most effective, we advise everybody downloading/uploading the file to use PeerWeb DC++.
• foobar2000 support (type /f or /foobar in main chat - requires foo_spam to be placed in foobar2000 components folder)
• "Get IP Address" and "Autoupdate IP at startup" are located in the connection area so you can easily configure your connection settings
• "Check Settings" helps users ensure their set IP and ports work correctly
• More connection options for user in General settings (eg. 5M, 6M, 7M, 8M, 9M, 10M etc)
• Revamped Download Queue progress bars:
  • Grey - nobody has that chunk or is requesting it
  • Dark Red - a partial source has that chunk or is requesting it (therefore user will avoid downloading this chunk from full sources and download a unique chunk instead)
  • Dark Blue - you are downloading/requesting that chunk (ie. its set aside from a source that is working)
  • Yellow - downloaded and unverified chunk
  • Green - downloaded and verified chunk
• Multiple away messages - increased text input area aswell
• /uptime (/up), /ratio (/r) and /clear (/c) chat commands for main chat/PMs
• Option to disable showing of hub topic
• Emulation improvements
• /Limit chat command added to quickly enable/disable Transfer Limiting
• Ability to enable/disable Transfer Limit in system tray menu
• Winamp toolbar (View > Winamp Toolbar)
• Can manually connect to a hub address in public hub window
• Recent hub address you've connected to via Quick Connect
• Cycle through tabs with Ctrl+W & Ctrl+E
• Password Protection for program exit
• Start hubs minimized option
• /filext command
• /yahoo (/y) command for searching
• Preview of PM message when notifcation for PM's is enabled
• Improved favourite hubs sorting
• "Clear Chat" button in main chat
• /cls # or /clean # to clean user's main chat (Operators only)
• Improved English language (StrongDC++'s was lacking)
