DCDB
DCDB was a web based search service by Eighth Wonder that attempted to provide a global search capabilities for the Direct Connect network. The NMDC client portion of the search engine gave bogus values in $MyINFO, including share size and for share size and tag. This was meant to contravene hub rules, and so hub owners did not like it. The developer allowed owners to "opt out" of the search engine by emailing him.
